In February, just before the Corona crisis, Dots and Loops visited several communities in Rajasthan, India
Our first two distributions were in the beautiful pink city of Jaipur. We worked together with a wonderful woman named Anushree Dasot who works often with the underprivileged communities in Jaipur. Anushree helped facilitate visits to two small schools in the outskirts of the city. We met and discussed with more than 50 girls and distributed our Days for Girls kits. Everyone was happy and excited to discuss menstruation (it was the first time for many of the girls).
.
In Ajmer, we worked with Deepak Sharma, the president and founder of the RSKS India, a Grassroots Indian NGO. Dr. Sharma is the amazing drive behind the RSKS, which promotes Women Empowerment, Sustainable Livelihood, Girls Education, Gender Equality, Child Rights & Welfare, Agriculture, Environmental and Water issues for the Marginalised & deprived sections of the community.
We hope to collaborate together for many years to come.
In Jaipur, we worked with a local organisation.
